Glamping it Up with ‘Glamping Bell Tent Hire’

Many people think, “how can camping possibly be glamorous? You have to sit in a field with nothing to do, squelch about in mud and queue for hours just to use the toilet!”

shutterstock_211091626Well glamping (or glamorous camping) is a great way of bringing all the comforts of the indoors, outdoors! It’s perfect for those wanting to be a bit more adventurous… without giving up home comforts.

Who doesn’t want to spend their night surrounded by the people they love, drinking wine and partying till the early hours on a hot Summer’s night in the country? And then, when you’re worn out and ready for bed, it’s already there, waiting for you. Sounds perfect, right?

Well admittedly, sometimes glamping bell tent hire can even be more expensive than a decent hotel, but that’s not to say it can’t be done on a budget. Besides, it’s totally worth it to get away from civilisation for a while and spend some quality family time together. Make the kids put down their laptops and games consoles. Turn off your mobiles and forget about work. For the next few days, you’re sole objective is simply to enjoy yourself.

Even if the weather’s abysmal, and you’re stuck in our beautiful bell tent for the weekend, it can still be fun. You make your own fun! Usually, glamping tents are big enough for the kids to play and the adults to… well, adult. Get a little wood-burning stove going, snuggle up in the blankets and play games. Now would be the perfect time to start that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages!

Many glamping sites welcome fully-furnished and beautifully decorated bell tents, with cosy beds and plenty of lighting. Sometimes there are well-equipped communal kitchens, things to do for both adults and children, and even decent showers! Some sites are environmentally sustainable, using materials found on-site, using solar panels and eco-toilets.

We’ve have a few recommendations if you’re struggling.

Become one with nature when glamping!

If you’re worried there’s nothing to do in the middle of a field, try to find a glamping site in a place of outstanding natural beauty. That way, if you get tired of sitting in your bell tent, you can go out and explore! There are many places both beautiful and interesting across the country with plenty to do. Be adventurous and become one with nature!

Glamping bell tent hire, or teepee tents as sometimes they’re referred too, have plenty of room, and can sometimes house as many as ten people. They are spacious and comfortable, and perfect for get togethers and social breaks. They’re especially great for people with children. You never know – this trip may bring out the Bear Grylls in them!

It’s nice to use independently owned glamping sites. There are chain sites already out there, but it’s always important to support the little businesses as well. These smaller sites are likely to be more flexible with the rules, and add a more personal touch. It’s the little details that can make a holiday great.
